Since 2018, Dundas, MN farmers, Clean River Partners, and the Rice SWCD have cooperated to reduce the nitrate-nitrogen levels in Rice Creek by 43% through cover cropping and conservation tillage! We invite you to learn more about the most recent data collected from this sustainable agricultural effort which includes not only findings on how cover crops limit nutrient losses, but also on how conservation practices affect crop yield and farm profitability. This free event will feature diverse conservation professionals discussing multiple aspects of this collaborative project, and how you can get involved. We’d love to see you there!
